Week two let’s go

Yo  it’s Katie  welcome back to my blog 🙂

I have been living in Tours , France for over two weeks now.

So France is completely different to Australia  aha , the sun rises over here at 8:30 am and sets at 6:30pm! Most days I’m at school from sunrise  to sunset. I start school everyday at 8:10 but finish at different times according to the day, I normally have a 2-3 hour gap between the middle of the day to have lunch and we are allowed to leave campus at this time which is pretty cool.  Normally Abby and I leave school and go get Starbucks during this time hehe. So there are 4 exchange students at my school at the moment there is Abby ( America ), Ashu (India), Flor (Argentina) and me 🙂 there are also two students who went on exchange with rotary as well.

In the two weeks I’ve been in France I’ve already visited Ikea  , the movies, Starbucks, Burger King, and the Saturday markets.

The past weekend I went on my first  rotary camp it was in Orleans. I met everyone in my district  and was formally introduced to everyone in my district. The hotel  we stayed at had donkeys which was pretty cool.

My language  has already started to improve  a lot, I am able to order my food at Starbucks and Burger King and I can introduce  my self and ask basic questions in French.

I will wrap up this blog post here because I could go on forever about how good the hot chocolate  is over here or how cute my host families cat is. I would like to say thank you to my host family the Trideau’s for hosting me,  and my host club as well for putting on the rotary weekend. I would also like to thank everyone who’s helped me on my exchange so far. My next blog post will probably be in March,  I’ll be uploading photos on here at times and you can allows add me on facebook cause I post a lot there too.

Okay cya  peeps 🙂

Add me on social media as well 🙂
